How we handle buyer, vehicle and portal information.
This policy explains how Landed Classics Australia collects, uses and shares information when buyers browse vehicles, request diligence, open a buyer file or coordinate a UK vehicle purchase and import pathway.
Landed Classics Australia is operated by Oakhampton Capital Pty Ltd. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Oakhampton Capital Pty Ltd trading through the Landed Classics Australia service unless a buyer-file document states otherwise.
Buyer files may include seller invoices, listing snapshots, identity/build-date evidence, V5C/export documents, inspection reports, photos, freight documents, import approval and handover records.
We record selected payment routes, invoice evidence, payment status, service-fee status and supporting notes. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
Use
We use information to run the buyer file.
Information is used to respond to enquiries, assess listings, coordinate seller checks, arrange inspections, maintain document checklists, manage payment-route evidence, support freight/import work, answer portal questions, improve the site and meet legal, tax, accounting and operational record-keeping requirements.
Sharing
We share only where the file needs it.
We may share relevant information with sellers/dealers, inspection providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, biosecurity/compliance providers, insurers, escrow providers, solicitors, finance brokers, payment processors, IT hosting providers and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law.
We use portal access controls, audit records and limited-access storage for buyer-file information. No online system is risk-free, so sensitive instructions should be verified before funds move.
Because the service concerns UK vehicles, some information may be shared with overseas sellers or providers, and with cloud or payment providers that process data outside Australia.
We keep records for as long as needed for the buyer file, operational history, legal/tax/accounting requirements, dispute handling and service improvement.
The site and portal may use cookies or similar local/session storage for navigation, login/session handling, analytics, troubleshooting and security.
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, subject to identity checks and legal limits.
For privacy questions, use the contact route provided in your buyer file or enquiry thread. Do not send payment instructions until the payee has been verified for the file.
